The videos and photos on this page represent the fundamentals for the movements being performed. There are many variations of each exercise to make them easier or more challenging; make sure you practice the fundamentals before moving on to the more advanced movements. 

 

Practicing the fundamentals regularly will help athletes continue their progress at a smooth trajectory. Skipping certain skills to attempt a more advanced movement will cause delay in progress, and put the athlete in a more susceptable space for injury and frustration. Even though the more advance skills are what people 'want to do' or 'help them get better'; the fundamentals should not be ignored. Even professional athletes spend a percentage of their time revisiting basic skills to help aid the advanced ones.
